About Southside Large Animal Clinic
Southside Large Animal Clinic was established in February 1994 by Dr. Pete Fulper as an exclusively large animal practice serving both bovine and equine clients, including embryo transfer services. In 2010 the practice shifted its focus to exclusively bovine care. Today, Dr. Fulper serves as the sole owner and operator, supported by a small, experienced team. The clinic is family owned and operated, with a mission to provide thoughtful bovine veterinary services that respect both herd health and the realities of modern dairy and beef production.
Our Veterinary Services
Southside Large Animal Clinic provides a range of bovine services for dairy and beef operations. From on farm procedures and reproduction program design to embryo transfer and convenient access to medications, our goal is to support the long term productivity and wellbeing of your herd.
Dairy and Beef Herd Health
We perform almost any procedure commonly needed for dairy and beef cattle. Services are tailored to the needs of each operation and may include herd health work, individual animal exams, and on farm treatments designed to keep cattle productive and comfortable.
Reproduction Programs and Bull Breeding Exams
Sound reproduction programs are a key part of herd success. We help design and implement practical reproduction plans for dairy and beef herds, including scheduling, monitoring, and record review. Bull breeding and soundness exams are available to help ensure that herd sires are ready for the breeding season.
